Results |
This is an on-going programme and feedback so far has been excellent with lots of war stories to demonstrate ROI The quote below from a senior programme manager summed it up nicely! I felt that the EPL course joined it all together and showed how the various tools and techniques can be used for real effect in fulfilling my day to day responsibilities. Through the course I have been made more aware of areas in which I have got room to develop, and given the tools and direction to enable me to effect change in those areas. I have also been shown areas of strength/competence which I can further develop and build on. Judith and Ian are excellent course leaders, and really ensured that the attendees are able to identify real opportunities to use the tools and techniques to enable us to improve the quality of the work we do on a day to day basis. An excellent course excellently delivered. I look forward to applying what I have learned and an opportunity where I can attend further courses that develop further on the foundation this course has laid. |

Consultancy - Making the Annual Employee Survey Work!
Our Client |
The UK arm of a large US-based global FMCG company |
Their Business Need |
Recent employee satisfaction surveys had shown a significant dip in ratings and our client wanted a better understanding of the underlying reasons for this and to identify what they needed to do next to engage their people in a programme to improve employee satisfaction |
TheAssignment |
Meet with a series of employee groups and facilitate discussions to gather examples of what is working well and areas that require action using Appreciative Enquiry(link to earlier article) as an approach and produce feedback reports and a presentation to Senior Leaders in the company |
Results |
Employees welcomed the opportunity for in depth discussion with an external consultant and felt free to give their full and open feedback. The Appreciative Enquiry approach allowed a focus on what is working well - even if only in some areas- and how it can be leveraged and cascaded throughout the business. The report and presentation to Leaders led to a senior team being put together with a detailed communication and action plan to increase engagement across the business and make sure that the best ideas could be put into practice. |
